Highlights of Chinese Open Year of the Horse

And... for the best of the rest! A few photos of my favourites pieces of artworks from all that caught my eye at the Chinese Open Year of the Horse group show in Chinatown, Soho in London.

While it was complete madness outside with tourists fighting to catch a glimpse of Chinese New Year performers, inside the car park a more averted public was enjoying  culture of another kind.

It was a very diverse show with performances and art bands happening on the 1st level of the car park for just one day.

Flashing outfit, teeth and shoes all courtesy of Gzillion artist!

Then on level 7 the main event was taking place with a private view of the art show that went on for a week.

There were installations, sculptures, photography, printmaking, paintings, ...and a knowledgeable public appreciative of a vibrant contemporary UK art scene.

My apologies for to all the artists I have not credited! But there is a Facebook page if you wish to know more.

This driver of this fancy car (above) did not get the message to move his vehicle away from level 7 in time for the show...and got the surprise of his life!
